Welcome to our web
pages. We are Fred van Horrik and Maurice Hendriks, both aviation
enthusiasts and photographers. Since we are working with the Royal
Netherlands Air Force, we turned our passion into our job. After
having worked together with the Air Traffic Control at Volkel Air
Base, we
are now based at Eindhoven Air Base, home of the transport fleet of
the RNLAF. We deal with planning and control of the 334 squadron
aircraft operations.
Main targets of our
photography are to enlarge our image collection and to publish our material. Our
photographs have been published in both Dutch national as well as
international magazines such as Air Forces Monthly, Code One and
World Air Power Journal.
We are both
equipped with Canon Eos digital camera bodies. We have the Eos 1D
mark 2 and Eos 10D systems, fitted,
24-105mm f/4.0 IS, 70-200mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/2.8 lenses which if
necessary will be extended with 1.4x and 2x converters. We use 2GB
Sandisk Ultra II and Lexar
40x write acceleration Compact Flash cards and portable hard
disks to store the images.

In the season 2004
we upgraded our analogue Eos 3 cameras to the digital ones.
Scanning slides is a
time-consuming business and not our favorite waste of time. Besides
this, we are frustrated by the lose of image quality after scanning
the slides. Now with the digital high quality images, there is
almost no loss in image quality. We hardly ever project our slides
on a screen. Mainly we use our images digital, eighter for this
website or for publication in magazines.
All pictures shown
on these pages are taken by our selves since the early eighties. The
purpose of these pages is to show our slides to those who are
interested. It is not our goal to sell or trade slides. However, if
you are interested in receiving prints of the published slides,
please
for order and advice.
Thank you for your interest. Mind this: Ordered prints may not be
used for publication in any form without prior permission from the
photographer.
We hope you like
