Dutch Hercs go
boring grey...
On
Tuesday 20 February 2007 the RNLAF C-130 Hercules G-275 arrived at
Eindhoven Air Base with a new colour scheme. Its new painting is overall
grey, which is quite a contrast to its previous one. The G-275 used to
be painted in an attractive two tone grey camouflage scheme. It has now
large black 'KONINKLIJKE LUCHTMACHT' titels on the forward fuselage with
a small English translation below it.
This scheme will be the new standard for all Dutch C-130s in the fleet.
The new short version G-781 and G-988 will be delivered in this scheme
but the G-273 will be flying in the camo pattern for a little while.
