Goodbye.
It is the end of the trip, we are leaving.... In the morning we give the car back to Avis (thanks to the GPS, the location is found in no time). To our surprise they don't even start about the accident and the speeding at the Tohuku Expressway. At the airport we return the rented phone to the shop but this was a little more expensive then expected. Local costs for making calls were huge (¥330 per minute) so the telephone bill was not a pleasant surprise. But... without the phone we would never have found the youth hostels..

On one hand we are glad it is over now. Everyone wants to see his wife and kids again (don't get so emotional Sean..) and have enough bruises on our bodies from constantly hitting each other.

The bags are packed, we spend our last yens on some presents and Fred buys Paul a T-Shirt. If he ever gets it remains to be seen.

It was a great trip and we all feel satisfied.
